HARDY Is Hospitalized After Experiencing ‘Many Panic Attacks’ Since Tour Bus Crash

HARDY has announced that he has canceled two of his upcoming shows as he is currently in hospital after suffering several panic attacks following a tour bus accident last year.

The country musician, 33, announced the news in a statement on Instagram on Tuesday.

“I have to be honest with everyone for a moment,” wrote HARDY, whose real name is Michael Hardy. “Since the bus accident last year I have been dealing with severe anxiety and in the last two weeks it has taken over my life.”

“It caused me to suffer from many panic attacks, which landed me in the hospital,” he continued. “I need a moment to focus on myself and make myself better for my wife, family and you, the fans.”

As a result, HARDY said he “will have to cancel the two shows of the mockingbird & THE CROW Fall Tour on October 5th and 7th” in Simpsonville, South Carolina and Brandon, Mississippi, respectively.

The “Wait in the Truck” singer wrote that tickets for those two dates will be refunded at the point of purchase and that the Georgia Rodeo show in Winterville, Georgia, originally scheduled for October 6, will now take place on April 12, 2024.

He urged fans to “hold on to your tickets” for the Georgia Rodeo show because “they will be valid for the new date in 2024.”

“My plan is to come back and focus on October 12,” HARDY said of the upcoming show in Jonesboro, Arkansas. “Thank you for your understanding, see you soon.”

HARDY suffered ‘significant injuries’ in tour bus crash: ‘I’m alive and that’s all that matters’

On October 2, 2022, the singer-songwriter shared in an Instagram post that his tour bus was involved in an accident on the way back from Bristol, Tennessee, after performing the night before.

HARDY wrote that four passengers on the bus were “treated for serious injuries” and the bus driver remained in hospital.

At the time, he said he was “released from the hospital, but the doctors have ordered him to recover for the next few weeks, which could cost us a few shows.”

After assuring fans that he would “update in the coming days” any changes to the tour schedule, HARDY asked them to “pray for our road family.”

The “One Beer” singer also posted a photo on his Instagram Story of himself with his then-fiancee, Caleigh Ryan, who could be seen resting her head on his shoulder.

“Thank you for all the messages and calls. I’m alive and that’s the only thing that matters,” he wrote over the picture. “I love you all.”
