In October 2023, Hare Ram shared on the show “Kaun Banega Crorepati” that he rescued an abandoned baby girl from the bushes in the village on December 9, 2004. He named the girl Taapsee when she came to his home in October 2023 while studying in class. This incident made him determined to rescue and take care of every abandoned girl until his death. Later, along with his wife, he established ‘Narayan Sewa Aashram’ at their home to provide shelter to these homeless girls. He also paid for all their education expenses. In a media conversation, he had shared the story behind the establishment of Narayan Sewa Aashram. He said,
I still remember that time. That day, as soon as I woke up after doing sadhana, someone told me that a little girl was found behind the CBI Training Center in Deoghar. I ran over and took the girl home. The girl was in very bad shape. There were ants in her belly button and she had fallen into a coma. Her treatment lasted about 21 days, after which she made a full recovery. “

The orphans in his convent have “Hare Ram Pandey” listed as their father’s name on their Aadhar cards. According to Har Ram Pandey, he sold his ancestral property and borrowed money from relatives to raise the abandoned girl.

As time went on, many people began to tell Hare Ram about girls wandering the streets alone or in difficult situations. Whenever he hears such news, he will rush to help the girl in need and take her to his home. In 2023, there were five mentally retarded girls living in his home. Hare Ram’s son, daughter-in-law and wife also assisted him in this work. His daughter-in-law Gayatri taught and helped the girls learn art and other skills and took up all their responsibilities. So what started as a small act of kindness by Harram, his children continued.

- In 2022, he revealed in an interview with the media that he took on the responsibility of raising a girl in his family who lost her mother when she was young.
