Who is Hayden Gipson?
The Middleburg community is mourning the loss of 16-year-old Hayden L. Gipson, who sadly passed away on Monday, November 13th, following injuries sustained in a car accident. Middle-West High School student Hayden was passionate about basketball and wanted to play for the upcoming bowling team. Hayden was employed at Burger King in Middleburg and the shoe department at the Susquehanna Valley Mall. He used to be employed at Burger King. Hayden took solace in fishing, exploring on his four-wheeler, and going on motorcycle adventures with his father when he wasn’t at school or work. His relatives and friends knew how much he loved sloths.
Regardless of their siblings’ fun antics, Hayden always had a special place in his heart for his siblings. On Friday, Nov. 17, from 9 to 11 a.m., friends and family are welcome to pay their respects while visiting Beavertown God’s Missionary Church, 1693 Creek Rd., Middleburg. Following burial in Glendale Cemetery, Middleburg, a funeral service will be held at the same location at 11 a.m., with the pastors of the church officiating. First National Bank has established a Memorial Fund to help with funeral expenses. For donations, you can make checks payable to the “Hayden L. Gipson Memorial Fund.”
Joshua G. Gipson of Middleburg and Beth A. (Bingaman) Gipson of Selinsgrove are the parents of Hayden L. Gipson who was born in Lewisburg on February 12, 2007. He then attended Midd-West High School where he played basketball the previous season and intended to join bowling team this year. Hayden worked in the shoe department at Susquehanna Valley Mall and previously worked at Burger King in Middleburg. He loved to drive, go fishing, ride four-wheelers and ride motorcycles with his father. The sloth was one of his favorite creatures. Hayden was known to torture his sisters and brothers.
