Images of a corgi being thrown from a plane into the air seem impressive, but the truth is somewhat different.
In a bizarre optical illusion shared by the dog’s owner on Instagram, the pup appears to briefly fly through the air after being dropped.

For a split second, the dog appears to be flying.
But the corgi, named Karma, immediately lands on a hard surface that turns out to be snowy ground, which at first glance looks like heaven.
Then the dog runs excitedly, biting the owner’s sleeve.
In the video, the snow appears to resemble a cloudy sky, while the reflection of the sun on the mounds of white material resembles light reflecting off the clouds.
“I’m sorry,” the woman tells Karma after the pup lands in the snow.
The video caused quite a stir when it was posted, with many Instagram commenters claiming they thought the owner had taken her dog skydiving.
“I thought it was heaven,” one person wrote.
Another added: “I thought you threw it off the plane!”
“Why does it look like you’re throwing it out of a plane?” asked the third.
“I was screaming on the inside until it hit the snow,” one commenter said with relief.
The video has been viewed nearly 53,000 times on Instagram and garnered nearly 300 comments.
In another stunning optical illusion, the image appears to show a stunning view of Earth from space.
However, the reality is quite different.
Optical illusion lovers also had trouble finding the rooster, the hen and the three hens hidden in the tree.
The intricate painting depicts a tree on a white background with five animals hidden among its branches.
If you pay close attention to the puzzle, you will see the shape of the animals formed by the branches of the tree.
And if you look closely, you’ll see that some of the leaves on the tree are actually the eyes of animals.
