Heather Kovar landed her first job as an anchor at NBC5 (KXAS) Dallas-Fort Worth after graduating in 1997. She spent the next two years at KXAS as a writer, assignment and reporter. Then, thanks to her charm and wealth, she was hired as a news anchor for WENY-TV (ABC 36).
She later went on to work as a news anchor for another news company. From 2001 to 2003, she worked as a NASDAQ freelance reporter at Thomson Reuters. Then she got the opportunity to present herself as a reporter and host of RNN’s Talk Show. She was a news anchor for News 12 for over 8 years.
She has now resigned as news anchor at WRGB, where she had been since July 2016.
