Heather Rae El Moussa Asks Fans to 'Please Pray' for Her Hometown That Wildfire Is 'Surrounding'

Heather Rae El Moussa is asking for her fans’ support as Line Fire approaches her hometown in California.

The Selling Sunset The alum, 36, explained how the fast-spreading wildfire has already affected her hometown of Running Springs, Calif., and her parents, who still live there, in a message she shared on her Instagram Stories on Tuesday, Sept. 10.

“Please pray for my little hometown of Running Springs. The fire is surrounded,” she wrote of the San Bernardino County location. “My heart is so sad.”

El Moussa shared another update earlier this week saying her parents had to evacuate the area twice as the fire was 0% contained, according to a screenshot of her post he shared Newsweek.

“The fire is 0% contained,” she wrote on her Instagram stories. “My parents have been evacuated for the second time from where they were staying. My small town is a mess and the fire is spreading like crazy. We are praying for everyone’s safety and all the animals.”

While the HGTV star now lives in Newport Beach with her husband Tarek and their children, her parents are still residents of the mountain town where she grew up.

The Line Fire, which has already burned at least 34,600 acres, is one of three massive wildfires currently burning through California, CBS News reports. Running Springs is among many San Bernardino County communities ordered to evacuate.

As of Wednesday, September 11, the fire is 14% contained, but still threatens to burn 65,500 structures. Media reports say a 34-year-old Southern California man has been arrested for allegedly starting a line fire.

In addition to the devastating wildfires in Southern California, residents of Nevada are also being affected by the devastating Davis Fire.

As the actor evacuated his home near Reno, Nev., he discovered disturbing scenes of the fire as it burned trees near his property and sent thick plumes of smoke billowing over the mountains.
