She competed in and won many national and international championships. In 2022, she participated in the 36th National Games in Gujarat and won two silver medals and one bronze medal in roller skating.

Gerard participated in the World Championships held in Italy from August 26, 2023 to September 3, 2023, and finished 10th in the 15-kilometer skating race. Heeral Sadhu will represent India in the 19th Asian Games (2022) to be held in Hangzhou, China in October 2023. She won a bronze medal in roller skating in the women’s speed skating 3000m relay with teammates Karthika Jagadeeswaran and Aarathy Kasturi Raj. The Indian women’s trio finished third with a time of 4 minutes 34.861 seconds, the Chinese Taipei team won the gold medal with a time of 4 minutes 19.447 seconds, and the South Korean team won the silver medal with a time of 4 minutes 21.146 seconds.
