Heidi Klum Talks ‘Sex and the City’ Outings with Sofía Vergara and AGT Wives — Plus Who’s the Group’s ‘Carrie’ (Exclusive)

Heidi Klum raises a glass to her friendship with her off-screen co-star American talent judge Sofia Vergara.

In an exclusive conversation with PEOPLE on the first evening of AGTIn the season 18 finale, the supermodel judge, 50, revealed what she does with Vergara, 51, outside of the show as she compared their dates to bachelorette parties from the hit HBO series.

“We are very Sex and the city, I have to say,” Klum said Tuesday on the set of the finale in Pasadena, California. “We go out as four girls. It’s actually Simon Cowell’s fiancee Lauren, and then Terry [Howie Mandel’s wife] and Sofía and I – the four of us, often go out.”

“So when we’re sitting there at the table cramming whatever it is and giggling and drinking our martinis, I always say, ‘We’re so Sex and the cityKlum added. “It’s hilarious. That’s us.”

As for the Carrie Bradshaw of the group? “I give Carrie to Sofia,” Klum said of who most closely resembles Sarah Jessica Parker’s leading lady. (For the record, Klum herself is more like Kim Cattrall’s Samantha Jones.)

Klum has developed quite a close relationship with Vergara over the years. So much so that she shared that she would choose the actress over Cowell, 63, and Mandel, 67, to recreate the balancing act performed by the Ramadhani brothers in the season 18 finale.

“Not because, I don’t know, I don’t have confidence in my life, but I feel like we would have the best groove together,” Klum explained to PEOPLE. “We would still like to look good at the same time. And she would make sure I was on top.”

Klum added that she would be happy to return the favor. “I would wear it. I would make sure it doesn’t fall,” she insisted.

The judge was left in awe after watching the Ramadhani brothers perform their fantastic number live on stage on Tuesday night.

“For me, they are simply unforgettable and so amazing,” enthuses Klum. “They’re this close and they’re doing this, and it’s so high up there. He walked up the stairs over this thing and had to step, and there were gaps in between. He had to go beyond that.”

“I mean, there were so many moments where you think, Why doesn’t this guy fall?Klum continued. “And then this extender on top, and then it was even higher. It was crazy.”

Klum also revealed backstage that she and the judges had planned to hang out together on Mandela’s boat that day – although Cowell ended up not showing up. “[Howie] he has this beautiful boat and he just wanted to be nice and invite us. He had an amazing cook there. We ate delicious sushi. I think he wanted to show off his boat,” Klum said.

During Tuesday’s episode AGTall 11 finalists performed one last time for the judges and America before the winner was announced on Wednesday.
