Heo Chan Of VICTON Has Issued An Apology To His Fans For His Intoxicated Driving

On September 23, 2022, VICTON’s Heo Chan personally apologized for his reckless drunk driving behavior. The 26-year-old K-pop star will be taking a break and not participating in any group or solo activities. According to IST Entertainment, the artist is under investigation and will likely have his driver’s license revoked.

In his letter, Heo Chan said he regretted his actions and apologized for the events of September 20, 2022.

He went on to say that he feels responsible for his actions and the pain they have caused not only to VICTON but also to others working behind the scenes to support the organization.

“As a prominent person who should have set a good example for the public and those who sympathize with me, I should have felt even more responsible for my behavior, but instead, I I made the wrong decision and caused great disappointment in myself.”

Then he said:

Above all, I find myself thinking about myself and my flaws and thinking about the fans who have spent the past 6 years believing in and cheering me on, as well as my colleagues. [VICTON] members, people in our agency, many of our employees, and many others who must have been hurt by my actions.”

IST Entertainment has informed VICTON’s Heo Chan of a holiday due to drunk driving.

VICTON will temporarily promote as a five-member group starting September 22, according to surprising news. This includes upcoming events, such as their KRONIKA fan concert next month. The decision came as IST Entertainment announced that VICTON’s Heo Chan was arrested for drunk driving two days earlier on September 20. He was on his way home after hanging out with friends. . He is currently fully cooperating with police investigations.

According to the agency, Heo Chan “repents and thinks about his behavior.” They also apologize to the affected parties and fans for any inconvenience. The company did not specify the length of his suspension. A VICTON member also sent a letter through his agency on the same day as the official statement.
