Here Pudu is the smallest and cutest deer

This is a story about the smallest deer called pudu. They live in South America. They are only 12 to 16 inches.

Pudus likes to eat grass, seeds, vegetables and fruits. They can stand on their hind legs and jump up trees. They are very active and know how to run away when being chased.

They live eight or ten years. They give birth in the spring. They give birth to one or two young. They spend their whole lives in dense forests.

Pudus is very active. They are good at jumping and climbing. Pudus are about the same size as domestic dogs.

There are northern pudus living in Ecuador, Colombia, Venezuela and Peru. Southern Pudus is found in Chile and Argentina.
