Here's Everyone Eminem Dissed (Playfully or Not!) on New Track 'Houdini'

Slim Shady is back on track with his latest track “Houdini”.

On Friday, May 23, Eminem released the first single “Houdini” from his upcoming album The Death of Slim Shady (Coup de Grâce). In the song, Eminem included some nostalgia for 2002’s “Without Me” — and made some notable disses.

In the first verse, Eminem, 51, takes aim at Megan Thee Stallion when he raps, “If I was looking for Megan Thee/Stallion if she worked with me/Would I really have a chance at success/I don’t know but I’m glad that I’m back.”

By that he probably means Megan, who was shot in the feet by Tory Lanez – who was sentenced to 10 years in prison for this – in 2020.

In the third verse, after pondering “what the old me would say (if anything) if he could see what he— is like today,” he jokingly tells several people, including himself, to “give it up .”

Eminem releases new song ‘Houdini’ with videos by Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg, Pete Davidson and others

“You can all smoke in my house…, actually fuck them, fuck them [Dr.] Dre, screw— Jimmy, screw-me, screw– you, screw— my own kids are brats.”

“I can joke, them and all of you, you too Paul, you got two balls, as big as RuPaul’s, what you thought you saw is not what you saw,” he continues.

Eminem released the music video for the song on Friday, and it included several references to his 2002 video “Without Me.”

In the video, Eminem receives a call from Dre, who reveals that a portal to the year 2002 has opened in the city, meaning a younger version of himself has arrived in 2024.

With comic book-style visuals, the current and younger versions of the rapper appear together on screen. Eminem even brought back the superhero suit he wore in an earlier video as he raps about his younger self.

“Abra-abracadabra (And for my last trick)/I’m about to reach in my bag, bruh (Like)/Abra-abracadabra (And for my last trick, poof)/Just like that and I’m back bro,” he raps on the chorus songs.

The video included cameos from 50 Cent, Snoop Dogg, comedian Shane Gillis, Pete Davidson and his three children Hailie Jade (28), Alain (31) and Stevie (22).

Days before the release, Eminem released a video with magician David Blaine, in which he asks the magician for help.
