HESTON Blumenthal’s wife had a lucky escape when her £80,000 4×4 smashed through the windscreen of another engine.
Melanie Ceysson’s Land Rover Defender was left leaning on two wheels after it veered into a row of parked cars just a kilometer from her home on Wednesday.

The restaurant mogul’s third wife, 36, crashed into a line of vehicles after crossing a roundabout in Bray, Berks, trapping her mother inside.
The pictures show her car rigged by a silver Nissan Note – while her mum sits inside with her daughter’s pet bulldog.
While Melanie, originally from France, managed to free herself through the driver’s door, her mum and dog were trapped inside for more than an hour.
Police and an off-duty firefighter were able to pull both of them out of the wreckage unharmed.

The crash happened near Heston’s Michelin-starred Fat Duck restaurant and gated mansion on the banks of the Thames.
Sean Fryer, whose £50,000 black BMW X4 suffered suspension damage in the shunt, said he heard a “massive bang” as he sat in his kitchen.
He said: “I went outside and there they were in her brand new Defender.
“Her wheel went over the side of my car and landed on the windshield of the car behind.”
But Sean, 47, claims Melanie instructed the owners of the other vehicles involved to speak to her PA.
He continued: “She told me she had only arrived in the UK the other day.
“She just said, ‘Talk to my PA’.
“I said, ‘I don’t know who you are.
“We just had an accident.
“You should write down your insurance information”.
“I texted the PA and he said, ‘I can’t talk right now’.
“Then they told me to text the other PA and they were very sly – then I thought it might be someone famous.”
Father-of-four Heston, 57, married Melanie in a ceremony in France earlier this year.
His representative did not comment.
