Brief overview of the premise and characters of the upcoming show
According to the official description, High Desert will have a total of eight episodes, with the first three set to be released on the premiere date. According to the series’ trailer and synopsis, Peggy is an unorthodox woman who makes questionable decisions in life. This shows that her mother has always accepted Peggy’s decisions in the past. On the other hand, Peggy is trying to restart her life after the death of their mother, while her siblings continue to judge her for her past drug use.
When Peggy decided to become a private investigator, the movie seemed to have a family drama with funny and daring elements and a great cast. The car crashes that merge with Peggy’s personality will also be memorable.
The following actors will also appear in the film:
- Denny, Peggy’s ex, is undeniably a tireless and charmingly pardoned executive played by Matt Dillon.
- Rupert Friend plays Guru Bob, a former local host who changes his name to a celebrity in the mystical desert after a traumatic experience.
- Peggy’s best friend Carol—an annoying emergency doctor fiancée and an easygoing new stepmother—played by Weruche Opia.
Brad Garrett, Bernadette Peters, Carmine Giovinazzo, Christine Taylor, Jeffrey Vincent Parise, Carlo Rota and Tracy Vilar are among the other actors.
