Hilary Duff and Her Husband Take Their 3 Children to Meet Santa Claus: ‘We Love This Time of Year’

On Monday, How I met your father The actress took to Instagram to share a series of photos taken while she and husband Matthew Koma, 36, were carrying daughters Mae James, 2, Banks Violet, 5 — along with Luc, 11, Duff’s son with her ex Mike Comrie — on a day of holiday cheer at The Grove in Los Angeles.

“We love this time of year 🥰,” Duff, 36, captioned the festive slideshow on Instagram.

Among the activities in which the family of five participated was a visit from Santa Claus himself. In the first clip, three children sat with Jolly Old St. Nicholas on an ornate red and gold throne in front of a red background decorated with Christmas decorations.

A happy-looking Luca, wearing jeans and a black and gold sports jacket, held Mae on his lap in her adorable red dress, beige sweater and ruby ​​red slippers with a bronze gold bag.

Banks, who was all smiles in her tights, sat next to them in a cozy white tracksuit and a silver ruffled skirt with red ankle cuffs and a black shoulder bag.

Duff and Koma also joined in the fun, posing with their kids and Santa. She looked dapper in an all black outfit accessorized with gold jewelry, while Koma rocked holiday hipster fashion in his blue button-up short sleeve and green khaki pants and hat.

Other pictures in the Instagram gallery included a selfie with Duff and her two oldest. and one Koma appeared to record the whole family. There is also a photo of the group taken as they stood in front of the famous outdoor mall’s giant Christmas tree.

“Grateful 🤎,” Duff captioned the pictures on Instagram, which showed Luca busy in the kitchen, Mae sampling food, and Banks having fun with her extended family as Duff seems to manage it all effortlessly.
