On Friday, Kotb’s daughters joined their mom for a special surprise as the reporter rounded up his latest Today broadcast.

Near 8 a.m., the family of three sat together in the studio as Kermit the Frog came out, serenading them with “Rainbow Connection,” which is also the song Kotb sings to his daughters every night before bed.
