During her professional career, Holly Saunders changed her name from Holly Niederkohr to Holly Saunders. Saunders required surgery after suffering a knee injury while she was playing college golf. Her journalism degree actively helped her transition from playing golf to broadcasting because she can’t do it. After college, she wanted to work for the Golf Channel. But she needed more television experience. So Saunders moved to Little Rock and worked as a talk newscaster for a year.
I finally got a job with the Golf Channel in 2011. She made a name for herself on the Golf Channel with shows like Morning Drive, School of Golf, and Playing Lessons with the Professionals. In 2013, she also appeared on the cover of the Golf Digest website. USA 2015 after being hired in July 2014. While the network was covering the Open, Holly Saunders left for Fox.
