JUST ten mourners were present at last month’s funeral of former Met Police Inspector Warren Arter as he carried the true extent of his depravity to his grave.
These secrets include all the circumstances related to the death of his wife Rebeka.

Arter led South East London’s rape squad, which was commended for outstanding performance in 2009, and was promoted to Detective Inspector in 2015.
The Sun can reveal today how Rebekah was found dead in a bloody hotel room in Barbados two weeks before Arter’s suspected suicide in prison in July this year.
Her well-attended funeral took place at the same crematorium immediately after a solitary service for Arter, 54.
At the time of her death, hairdresser Rebekah, 47, was under Arter’s control, and both were addicted to crack cocaine, friends said.
It is claimed he forced Rebekah to have sex with other men at swinging parties and she was raped while she was unconscious after being drugged by a former Met cop.

Police were investigating allegations of coercive control against Arter when he and Rebekah died.
Rebeka’s body was “found” by Arter on their bed in the luxurious O2 Beach Club and Spa hotel in June.
The sheets and carpet of the hotel room were covered in blood. There were no visible signs of injury, and the local police ruled out foul play.
However, friends believe that the cause of Rebekah’s death was the lifestyle to which Arter was a slave.
The first autopsy on the Caribbean island found cocaine in Rebecca’s liver.
It said it was concluded that she died of massive bleeding in the lungs caused by a viral infection like pneumonia.

Accounts in conflict
An inquest into her death opened last month at South London Crown Court.
It will be continued later when the exact cause of death is determined and probably Arter’s behavior will be examined in detail.
Arter, who spent more than £3,000 on Rebecca’s credit card in Barbados in the days after her death, said he gave conflicting accounts of when he found her body.
If Arter had been charged and convicted of misconduct earlier, he probably would have been imprisoned and Rebekah would still be alive.

In one version, he claimed they were sunbathing and went back to the room, then woke up two hours later to find her dead.
While in another he said they had gone out to dinner the night before and he had slept for 18 hours before discovering her body.
The former detective hit the headlines last year when he was dismissed for gross misconduct after an extraordinary disciplinary tribunal heard about his drug abuse and orgy.
Two years earlier, another Met police officer, firearms officer Wayne Couzens, had abducted, raped and murdered Sarah Everard in a high-profile case that led to an independent review of police culture and behavior by Baroness Casey.
Published last year, her inquiry report concluded that the Met was institutionally racist, homophobic and sexist.
Met Police Commissioner Sir Mark Rowley has launched a purge of bad apples in his force.
He says there are hundreds of corrupt cops, thugs and sexists who need to be removed from the profession.
A search of police databases in 2022 found 161 officers with previous convictions, including three for sexual offences.
Arter spent almost seven years suspended on full pay, earning around £400,000, before a gross misconduct hearing, where questions were asked about why he never faced criminal charges of misconduct.
A source said: “If Arter had been charged and convicted of misconduct earlier, he would probably have been jailed and Rebekah would still be alive.
Taking control of her life and effectively forcing her to live a life of debauchery cost Rebekah her life.”
Three days after Rebekah was found dead, Arter overdosed.
He was taken to a hospital in Barbados and survived the alleged suicide attempt.
Arter was comforted by Rebecca’s brother and sister, who flew to the island and then escorted him back to the UK.
But to their shock, Arter was arrested on arrival at Heathrow by the Met Police on charges of serious offences, including rape.
He was accused of improperly holding a public office for a period of 13 years.
Arter allegedly had “inappropriate contact with a crime victim” who has not been identified but was not Rebekah.
He appeared at Westminster Magistrates’ Court on July 10 and was remanded in custody to appear at Woolwich Crown Court in August.
But he was found dead in his cell at HMP Wandsworth two days later.
In his cell was a note to his distinguished father Anthony, a former Metohija police officer turned barrister who received a CBE for his work and charity fundraising.

The Sun can also reveal that as well as misconduct, Arter was arrested at Heathrow over allegations of coercive control over Rebekah, which were made by one of her relatives.
He was also arrested for allegations of rape and sexual assault by another woman. Arter was further detained on charges of voyeurism, sending malicious messages and blackmail.
He was “swollen” at the claims.
The allegations, which are being investigated by south London detectives in conjunction with the Met’s professional standards unit, are now likely to remain out of the public domain.
Detectives are assisting the coroner with a full investigation into Rebecca’s death, although they are not investigating her.
Rebeka’s fate was sealed in 2007 when she reported domestic violence to the police and Arter was assigned as an investigator.
Arter was a detective sergeant working in the community safety unit at the time.
Arter began a relationship with Rebeka, part of a pattern of inappropriate romantic relationships he had with vulnerable victims.
Six months after meeting Rebecca, he moved into the home she shared with her young son Elliot in Welling, south London.
Soon after, Arter led the specialist Sapphire rape team covering the borough of Bexley, south-east London.
In 2009 his team was commended for the best results in London and in 2015 he was promoted to Detective Inspector.
But the clean-cut detective was a sexual predator who preyed on victims who believed the police.
It was later alleged that Arter failed to ensure proper conduct of criminal investigations against those victims with whom he had affairs.
Arter also spoke harshly about women in front of other Sapphire officers, multiple witnesses told investigators.
And without the knowledge of his superiors, he regularly consumed cocaine and attended wild sex parties.
He and Rebekah tied the knot in Las Vegas in 2016. Photos obtained by The Sun show the happy couple at their unusual wedding before jetting off to Jamaica.
However, they met for Arter when the couple returned from their honeymoon, because the anti-corruption officers of the Met were waiting for him at his home.
He was investigated after an anonymous call to Crimestoppers claimed he had affairs with rape victims.
A review of his devices revealed he had been looking for places to buy cocaine and ecstasy while in Las Vegas and Jamaica, and call logs showed he regularly frequented a known drug den.
Scarce PVC top
Arter was suspended from his post and over the next two years he further entrenched himself in the world of drugs and kinky sex.
Friends say he would stay out all night, sleep during the day and often had nosebleeds due to drug abuse.
Rebekah’s life also began to unravel under Arter’s influence. A source said: “She was also taking cocaine and was under his complete control.
He made her wear revealing clothes and high-heeled shoes. She was not the woman she had been when she met Warren.”
The investigation into Arter was taken over by the Independent Office for Police Conduct, and in 2018 he was arrested again on suspicion of drug procurement and corrupt use of police powers.
Traces of cocaine were found on digital scales and plastic bags that were in his house.
About 3,000 messages were found on his phone, many of which related to swinging activities.
One message included a description of a woman who had sex with a man for crack cocaine.
In June 2020, a drug offenses file was sent to the CPS who three months later decided there was insufficient evidence to charge him.
Arter remained suspended by the Met until he was finally sacked last year by the gross misconduct panel.
By then, he and Rebekah had racked up debt, she had remortgaged her home and sold other property she owned.
It looked like a murder scene with blood everywhere. But the Bajan police were satisfied that she died of natural causes.

The expenses may have been explained by the crack pipes and needles found in their home.
With Arter’s six-figure pension, which he was able to claim because he avoided criminal proceedings, the couple flew to Barbados in June this year.
But nine days later Arter found Rebekah dead in their hotel room, wearing a skimpy PVC top, blood covering the sheets and carpet.
One source said: “It obviously looked like a murder scene with blood everywhere.
But the Bajan police were satisfied that she died of natural causes.”
By the time Rebecca’s body was returned to the UK, Arter was also dead.
A disturbing postscript casts “DI Depravity” in an even more horrifying light.
Photographs were found in their home showing Rebekah having sex with men while looking glassy-eyed.
According to the source, police were also told Arter sent a video to a friend showing Rebekah having sex with a man while she was apparently unconscious.
And Rebekah’s work colleagues also reported that she was showing signs of bruising in the months leading up to her death, it is claimed.
She and Arter were cremated, one after the other, on September 2nd, leaving mourners for Rebekah to reflect on the life she might have had if she hadn’t met Arter.
