A WOMAN has died following a medical emergency at an Asda supermarket.
Emergency services and police were called to the scene in Ashford, Kent, at 6pm on Friday 17 January.
The customer was rushed to hospital in critical condition, but later died.
A SECAmb spokesman said: “The team assessed and treated the patient before he was taken to William Harvey Hospital in a serious condition.”
Since the incident, flowers have been laid in front of the supermarket.
And an emotional tribute to the woman was shared.
“So sad, condolences to the family,” one person wrote online.
“So sad,” said another.
Meanwhile, a third said: “Their thoughts are with the family.”
Kent Police and Asda have appealed for comment.
