“Children’s Things” FKA Twigs contains a child celebrated.
In the Instagram reel divided on Thursday, March 20, the “Cellophane” singer revealed that North West, daughter of Kim Kardashian and Kanye West, ended up on a song from her new album, Eusexuawhere it rapes in Japanese.
Twigs, 37, shared the story as she put on makeup, writing a minute clip “Papaya Tea Storytime”.
When she was in the studio working on the album and while playing bass, the song “She came in my head,” she recalled. “And everyone watched me, and I was on the microphone, and then it was suddenly,” she tightened texts that would become the first verse of “children’s things”.
“I have supervisory powers that are polyphonic/like a chocolate teapot, melt them and burn them/I have super hell powers that are polyphonic/additional tonic give a glass of gin just to put it/drink to feel dead like nine to five/have a supersonic powers.”
The people in the studio who worked with her asked her if she had just written it, and she said it was from the song she wrote as a child.

Twigs, whose real name is Tahlia Debrett Barnett, said she loved a book as a child Where are the wild thingsWhat are part of the song text: “Where are the wild things, I will be/lost in the world of childish things and fantasy.”
“He dreams of being a star, we dream of dealing with artists. He dreams of being around people who are eccentric and great thinkers,” she said, adding that she thought she was “amazing” that she “manifested this moment” and her life, since she is surrounded by artists.
Twigs noted that her label said she had someone on a song that had “baby energy”. “He needs someone who has that persistence, who has a strong point of view you have when you are 11,” she recalled.

Originally from Gloucestershire, she said she then saw an interview with North. “She was so confident. It suddenly occurred to me that I would love to have a friend like north, who could speak for myself.”
In an interview, North recounted the time that was with her friends and relatives who were afraid of the dark. The north told them that all they needed to do was believe in God and believe in Jesus. “Watch us, we can pray,” she said, by twigs, calling 11-year-old mature.

In her verse, the northern rapes in Japanese: “Hi, my name is north/ from California to Tokyo/ Jesus King/ Praise God/ Jesus is the only true God.”
Twigs concluded her story, pointing out the coincidence that the north is working on the song. “The madness is that I wrote the song when I was 12, 13; she wrote the song when she was 11,” she said. “This is a collaboration that took a decade to come to fruition. The north helped to come to life after so many years and I am so grateful for that.”
