Roger E. Mosley, actor, writer and director, died on August 7 at the age of 83. On social networks, his daughter confirmed the news, writing,
“Roger E. Mosley, my father, your friend, your ‘Coach Mosley’, your ‘TC’ from Magnum PI, died today at 1:17am.” He passed away gently, surrounded by his family. We could never grieve such a wonderful guy. He would scorn every tear shed on his behalf.”
She continued,
“It is time to honor the legacy he left us all.” I adore you, dad. You adored me too. My heart is heavy, yet I am brave. I will take care of mom, your almost 60 years of dedication. You did a great job raising me and she is in good hands. “Slowly.”
Mosley died three days later at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles from injuries sustained in a car accident in Lynwood, California. As a result of the accident, he was paralyzed from the shoulders down and is in serious condition.
