How Spider-Man: No Way Home Perfectly Recreated The Pointing Meme

Although the cast and crew vehemently denied these rumors were untrue, they were quickly proven true. While the roles of Garfield and Maguire may be Hollywood’s best-kept secret, the actor’s presence and performance in the infamous meme deserves a long tease from Disney and Sony.

Spider-Man: No Place To Return After Spider-Man recruited Doctor Strange to cast a spell that made the world forget his civilian identity as Peter Parker. Unfortunately, the spell accidentally unleashed the multiverse and some super-criminals, causing Peter to lose a loved one at the hands of Willem Dafoe’s Green Elves. Peter then ran away and his friends tried to summon him through the gate, but ended up summoning Peter Park from Mark Webb ultimate Spiderman Film (aka Andrew Garfield) and Tobey Maguire by Sam Raimi Spiderman trio, and they eventually teamed up with Peter Holland to save the situation.

Marvel and Sony might not be able to keep Garfield and Maguire’s characters completely secret, but they surprised audiences by recreating Spider-Man’s iconic pointing meme from the movie.
