“It was a perfect letter. Like, he’s very, very smart and he’s got something important,” he explained. “He knew everyone’s line. He had great discipline and he’s everything you want him to be. He’s a leader, so sweet and so charming, first on set, last to leave, great team around him.”

If Kelce decides to start a career in Hollywood, Murphy believes he could be very successful.

“If Travis Kelce wants to be a big movie star, he could do it. You can see on the show, he can act and he’s talented,” he continued. “The world is his oyster. He can do anything.”

Grotesqueness airs Wednesdays at 10pm ET on FX and can be streamed on Hulu the following day.
