Afterpay makes it easy to buy things on credit, however, if you want to contact Afterpay, you may be a little confused. Despite having online customer service numbers, you can no longer speak to a representative over the phone. Instead, you can contact their help center through online forms, email or even through social media.

  • Afterpay no longer has a working phone number for customers. To contact them, fill out the form on their website or send them an email at [email protected].
  • Merchants can still contact Afterpay at their merchant number, 484-772-2736.
  • You can also DM them on Instagram @afterpayusa or Twitter @AfterpayUSA.
  1. Step 1 Go to the contact page on the Afterpay website.

Open the Afterpay website for your country (America, Canada, Australia or New Zealand) and then scroll to the bottom of the page. Press “Contact”.[3]

  2. Click on the menu item for the problem you are having. The site has options for refunds, returns, payment assistance, account management, general questions, ID verification, complaints, CCPA requests, unauthorized transaction reports, and setting spending limits.[4]

  3. Fill in the form with your information and submit it. Follow the instructions and then write a short description of your request. You can also attach all relevant documents. For forms related to orders, have your order number ready.[5]
If you are disputing a transaction, have the card that was used handy.[6]

    • If you are a merchant, please also include your merchant ID in the form.
    • Depending on your issue and when you fill out the form, Afterpay may respond immediately or take a week to get back to you. Their customer service center is busiest on weekends and holidays, so expect a longer wait if you make a claim during those times.
  1. Step 1 Send general questions to info@afterpay.

If you have questions about your account, want to talk to someone about changing your details, or have any legal questions, please email [email protected].[7]
A ticket will be created for your request and you should receive an email within 24 hours.

  2. Email uslegal@afterpay for legal claims and disputes. If you have a legal problem with one of the sellers, Afterpay asks you to start informal negotiations between you and the seller at least 30 days before going to court. Send an email notification of a dispute to [email protected].

    • Include your name, account information, contact information, and a description of your dispute in the notice.[8]
    • You can also send a paper copy to Afterpay US Services, LLC, 760 Market St. Floor 2 Unit 2.03, San Francisco, CA 94102. Write “Attn: Legal” on the envelope.[9]
  3. If you are a merchant, please email merchantadminus@afterpay. Visit the Afterpay Business Hub if you are a seller. Click on “Get in touch” at the bottom of the page. Pressing the button opens a message in your email application to [email protected].

  1. Step 1 Open the main Afterpay website and go to

Scroll down to the bottom of the Afterpay home page and find the “Connect” section. Click on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter or LinkedIn.[10]

  2. Step 2 Contact the account that corresponds to your country.

Afterpay has different social media accounts for different countries. The US, UK, Australia and New Zealand pages have Facebook and Instagram, the US and UK pages have Twitter, and the UK pages also have a LinkedIn page.[11]
