How to Send Email from Your Gmail Account?

Using a Gmail account is not a problem. All you need is to use it correctly and strongly condemn any kind of misuse of your account such as spamming, annoying other users and doing suspicious activities. Although there are many things you can do with your Gmail account, the basic use listed here is to send email;

  1. Sign in to your Gmail account.

  3. Click “New Message” or the + icon.
  4. Go to your Gmail inbox and click New Mail

  5. Now, in the ‘To’ field, enter the email address you want to send the email to.

  7. Enter the Subject of your message

  9. Enter the body of the email/message which can be personal or business.
  10. Enter your message

  11. Press ‘Send’.
  12. Click send mail

To create an effective email, you’ll see several other useful options besides the ‘Send’ button.

This is how you can use them;

  1. The ‘A’ button is used to change the appearance of the email by changing the font size, color and other aspects of the text.
  2. The ‘Paperclip’ icon is used to attach files or attachments that you can select from your local device.
  3. You can insert a hyperlink in the text with the ‘Insert Link’ button.
  4. Next, we have Emojis. Choose the one that suits your mood.
  5. You can add files from Google Drive using the ‘Drive’ icon
  6. You can use the ‘Picture’ icon to insert a photo into an email.
  7. And lastly there is the ‘Lock & Timer’ icon which can be used to enable or disable confidential mode for your email. If you use it, the email will automatically expire after a certain period of time.
