How to Unlock Every Ending in Fatal Frame: Mask of the Lunar Eclipse Remaster

There are several endings Fatal Frame: Eclipse Mask Remastered. Each shows the different fates of protagonists or allies Misaki, Madoka and Ryuka. Players need to be prepared to play the game at least twice, if not more, to see everything about the story.

Fatal Frame: Eclipse Mask First released on the Nintendo Wii in 2008, but only in Japan. The 2023 remake retains the same gameplay. The only minor additions are some new outfits, which are unlocked at the start of the game. No secrets or new ending, completely faithful to the first version.

Standard Easy/Normal Finish

At first you will only be able to play Easy or Normal, but beating the game in the latter will unlock Hard Mode. In addition, some useful items are no longer available. This even includes the final boss Sakuya receiving an extra penalty and possibly implementing a more conservative strategy to defeat it.

However, once core architecture If done in Nightmare or Difficult mode, eventually everyone will see the extended ending featuring Misaki and Madoka.
