There are several endings Fatal Frame: Eclipse Mask Remastered. Each shows the different fates of protagonists or allies Misaki, Madoka and Ryuka. Players need to be prepared to play the game at least twice, if not more, to see everything about the story.
Fatal Frame: Eclipse Mask First released on the Nintendo Wii in 2008, but only in Japan. The 2023 remake retains the same gameplay. The only minor additions are some new outfits, which are unlocked at the start of the game. No secrets or new ending, completely faithful to the first version.

Standard Easy/Normal Finish
ends in Fatal Frame: Eclipse Mask Remastered Depending on the difficulty to complete the game, including unlocking more difficult difficulty. At first you will only be able to play Easy or Normal, but beating the game in the latter will unlock Hard Mode. Completing the game again in Hard mode will grant core architectureNightmare difficulty, but it has the same ending as Hardmode.
The normal ending is defeated to see Fatal Frame: Eclipse Mask RemasteredThe final boss, Sakuya, is on Easy or Normal difficulty. The latter will make combat much easier and is a viable option if you’re just trying to get through the game quickly. As you can see in the gameplay footage from Game_track, Sakuya will be challenging like most other boss encounters.
The focus of this epilogue is Suigetsu Ryuka’s successful escape from the underground temple. Which meant that Aso Misaki herself did not escape safely.
Really Hard/Nightmare End
The second ending could be by finishing Fatal Frame: Eclipse Mask Remastered On harder difficulty settings. This makes the ghosts in the game more aggressive and dangerous. In addition, some useful items are no longer available. This even includes the final boss Sakuya receiving an extra penalty and possibly implementing a more conservative strategy to defeat it.
However, once core architecture If done in Nightmare or Difficult mode, eventually everyone will see the extended ending featuring Misaki and Madoka. This takes place in images rather than fully animated cutscenes. Misaki’s illness is cured and all the inhabitants of the island can go to the afterlife. As for whether Misaki will find Liuxiang again is uncertain.
While the remake doesn’t add many new features, there are still plenty of secrets and unlockable items. After completing the game, the player may want to collect hidden items core architecture: Eclipse Mask Remake. These optional items will aid in completing Nightmare difficulty, although it does not have an exclusive third ending of its own.
