The sweetest Thanksgiving tradition is about to arrive.
The 22nd annual National Dog Show presented by Purina and hosted by the Kennel Club of Philadelphia is scheduled to air on Thanksgiving Day. Once again, while people are feasting on turkey, mashed potatoes, pie and more, they can watch adorable dogs frolic.

When is the National Dog Show 2023?
National Dog 2023 will air on Thanksgiving Day, starting at noon local time and running until 2 p.m. The broadcast will cover the group judging rounds of the competition and the highly anticipated Best in Show round.
How to watch the National Dog Show?
Animal lovers can catch every minute of the 2023 National Dog Show broadcast by watching NBC at noon local time. The broadcast will begin after NBC’s broadcast of the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade.
Dog fans can also stream the 2023 National Dog Show on Peacock, NBCSports.com and the NBC Sports app beginning at 12pm EST on Thanksgiving Day.

Who will host the National Dog Show in 2023?
SeinfeldJohn O’Hurley and expert dog show analyst David Frei are hosting the National Dog Show again in 2023. They have hosted every National Dog Show since the competition began being televised in 2002. Sports commentator Mary Carillo will provide analysis and a behind-the-scenes look at the show, and Steve Kornacki will offer viewers a peek into the trends and history of the National Dog Show.

Who won the 2022 National Dog Show?
Winston, a French bulldog, won the 2022 National Dog Show, becoming the first of his breed to win the National Dog Show Best in Show award.
Winston’s handler, Perry Payson, tells PEOPLE that the historic first was “so exciting” for him and the French Bulldog community. The host adds that he could see Winston had the “electricity and charisma” of a winner since the puppy was in a “whelping box”.

During the 2023 National Dog Show broadcast, pet parents will have the opportunity to help choose the best dog for Thanksgiving. Purina searched for an everyday puppy to name the Thanksgiving Top Dog and found five finalists that the brand will share during the 2023 National Dog Show broadcast.
