This meant the starlet decided not to continue with discussions, in turn pulling out of negotiations and dashing any hopes of returning to the villa.
A source told The Sun: “Bosses were very keen to sign Megan because she does great TV and all the lads would love her.
“They talked, but then Megan unexpectedly met someone and started dating.
“It’s still early and it’s not very serious, but she wants to get things going.

“The powers that be are disappointed but hope they can persuade her to apply next time if things don’t go well with her new man.”
Megan Barton-Hanson first appeared on Love Island Season 4 in 2018.
During her first run on the show, Meghan was romantically linked to Eyal Booker and Wes Nelson.
She then returned to the Love Island Games in 2023, although her stint was short-lived.
Megan left the Love Island Games early due to medical reasons.

TURN FORWARD
Speaking to us ahead of the show’s launch, executive producer Mike Spencer revealed what will be scrapped and what will be “brightened up.”
“Remember that little man, that tree house?” he asked, “It didn’t work. We didn’t do it last year either,” Mike said, confirming that the treehouse would not be returning this year.
Then he talked about something else that they don’t normally do for All Stars – Casa Amor.
“We have no intention of doing Casa Amor for this one,” he said.
“We haven’t passed the year, because it’s only five weeks,” he added, before revealing something incredibly exciting.
“But we have something really fun,” he teased, “probably two weeks.”
