Hunt for thugs including woman who shouted ‘death to all Jews’ and men in ‘Hamas headbands’ after protest chaos

Police are today hunting thugs – including a woman who shouted “death to all Jews” – after chaos erupted in violent protests yesterday.

Police are now urgently looking for the woman and a number of others after another weekend riddled with anti-Semitism and other forms of racism.

Chaos erupted in the capital yesterday when counter-protesters, pro-Palestinian protesters and police clashed in the city.

Violence erupted as rockets and fireworks were fired at police, with 145 people arrested – and Defense Secretary Grant Shapps said more were likely to be arrested.

Now, following the marches and protests, the Met Police and British Transport Police (BTP) are urgently trying to identify those accused of anti-Semitism and other sick behaviour, including men who appear to be wearing Hamas headbands.

In one disgusting incident captured on film, a woman was seen approaching a group holding Palestinian flags and signs as they argued with a passerby.

She appears to have approached the group and started shouting over them before screaming, “Death to all Jews.”

Another woman is seen wearing a Nazi swastika, while another video shows a man criticizing people who support Israel, before talking about Hitler.

And in another disturbing photo, men appeared to be wearing Hamas-style armbands while at pro-Palestinian protests.

Police are also looking for others allegedly involved in “racially aggravated altercations” – including those at Waterloo station where pro-Palestinian groups gathered.

In a video shared on X, formerly Twitter, a man in an Arsenal shirt can be heard calling a group of individuals ‘terrorists’.

In it, a man ends his insults by telling the group that he was “born in the country.”

Another then adds: “Yeah, who are you? You fucking terrorist”.

And another video that has emerged showing sick racist abuse, a man is seen “shooting” the group, telling them to “go away, go home”.

A woman carrying a placard depicting Suella Braverman and Rishi Sunak as coconuts is also being hunted by the police.

‘ACTION IS NECESSARY’

Home Secretary Suella Braverman today condemned “sickening” anti-Semitic chants and placards at a pro-Palestinian Armistice Day march, while praising police for dealing with “violence and aggression” from protesters and counter-protesters.

The Minister of the Interior promised today: “Further actions are needed.”

Braverman added: “The sick, inflammatory and, in some cases, clearly criminal chants, placards and paraphernalia openly displayed at the march mark a new low.

“Anti-Semitism and other forms of racism together with the valorization of terrorism on such a scale are deeply troubling.”

She added: “This cannot go on. Week after week, the streets of London are polluted with hatred, violence and anti-Semitism.

“Citizens are exposed to mobbing and intimidation. Jews in particular feel threatened.”

London’s police force is continuing its investigation into the chaos that took place this weekend with seven charged so far.

The BTP said it was investigating the videos, adding: “Senior detectives are currently reviewing this footage and an investigation is ongoing.

“Everyone who has any information about this event is asked to contact the police as soon as possible on the phone number 0800 40 50 40 or SMS 61016.

The Met Police do the same.

The force wrote: “Following today’s pro-Palestinian demonstrations, we wish to identify the individuals in the thread below.

“Anyone who can help us identify this person should call 101.

“Information can also be obtained from Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.”

It came after officers this morning said they had launched an investigation after Jewish families leaving a synagogue in north London were allegedly targeted by pro-Palestinian activists.

The Campaign Against Anti-Semitism confirmed it was “aware” of Jewish families being “targeted on their way out of the synagogue”.

The group said it had “received multiple reports of police having to escort worshipers in groups for their own safety.”

Videos circulating online show a group of men holding green flags, waving Palestinian flags and shouting from a car.
