Similarly, he turned pro in 2003 and earned his PGA Tour card for the 2004 season after completing qualifying school. His first PGA Tour victory, at the 2007 Travelers Championship, catapulted him into the top 100 on the Official World Golf Ranking.
Additionally, he broke into the top 50 in the world rankings in August 2007 and finished 15th in that year’s FedEx Cup. On February 28, 2010, he won his second PGA Tour event, the Waste Management Phoenix Open, defeating Rickie Fowler by one stroke.
