RIP K9 Hunter. You have done your duty very well and now you are out of pain. Feel free to run to your colleagues across the Rainbow Bridge.
Before being diagnosed with cancer, Officer K-9 Hunter worked for the Middletown, Connecticut Police Department for ten years with his partner Michael D’Arest and their colleagues.

As the sad day came, D’Aresta held Hunter in his arms outside the vet’s office, surrounded by fellow officers, as he accepted a final farewell from those who had faithfully served by his side. .
Because of the emotion that the police department said goodbye to Hunter K-9, his legacy has spread across the country and the world — and it’s a legacy that will never be forgotten.
