THE OWNER OF THE HOUSE was terrified when she saw this figure at the top of her stairs.
Julia Jordan, 59, from Storrington, West Sussex, thought there was an intruder – until she realized it was the shadow cast by her husband Jason’s clothes.

A smiling Julia snapped the unusual shadow with a prominent chin, pointed nose and large forehead alongside 54-year-old Jason’s folded jacket, boxers and trousers.
Julia was left baffled as to how the lorry driver’s outfit cuts such an ‘almost perfect side profile’ and believes that even an artist could not have sculpted it better.
She posted the pictures on Facebook where a picture of what appears to be a burglar’s head behind a fence has been liked more than 30,000 times by amused users who agreed they would have panicked too.
Julia now believes the shadow looks more like a sumo wrestler or Queen Victoria, while others have compared it to Winston Churchill and even legendary film director Alfred Hitchcock.
Julia said: “I was coming up with my cup of tea and almost dropped it when I saw the shadow.
“It was just crazy. No one could have made it up and no one would have believed me if I hadn’t caught it on camera. The chances are so slim.
“How did he capture the light so perfectly? I’m no artist, but you couldn’t design that at all. It’s an almost perfect side profile.”
