Rant screen: John wick The franchise has surpassed itself with every installment. In a world where you can’t trust anyone, loyalty still exists. Lance, can you talk about the relationship between your characters and the loyalty between them?

Lance Redick: We talked [it] Stand alone and have a plot very similar to the one we discussed. But I think we’ve known each other for decades; maybe when he did the MI6 job in Africa, when I was a teenager and not well off. One of us saved each other’s lives. Then he took me under his protection and I have been with him ever since. For me, not only do I feel like I owe him my life, but he’s also my brother.

Winston always seems to have his own opinion, but he still wants to help the people he cares about. How do you take advantage of the duality of representation?

Ian McShane: Because of what happened. Before this movie, everything was in John’s hands, and he was relatively safe, even though he did what he assumed was following the rules. But this time he was missing one thing, which did not satisfy Winston. Because they run a hotel for assassins. It was a strange job, so they had to deal with some work. So it went in a different direction, that’s fine. But that’s the fourth time [movie]you have to expand the characters.

John Wick Quaternary is, you think, “the same,” but it’s not. It expands, relationships deepen, they get better; you understand the world better. It’s matured, but I think that’s because the author and Chad stuck with it. Chad directed all the films. Won’t be the same [otherwise]. This is absolutely the key.

Speaking of expansion, we will learn more about Winston and Charon in the next lessons European style series. Is there anything you want to discover about your character?

Ian McShane: They never really asked us any questions about that. So I don’t know what this series is about.

Is there anything you’d like to discover for yourself in Winston?

Ian McShane: Oh no, you mean Winston now? The less you know, the better. Maybe it’s too late now, I don’t know. As you said, it’s called John Wick. It’s not called Winston. I just walked in and said, “Sorry, did you see the name on it? It’s called John Wick.” It’s all about Keanu, and we’re all here together. He’s great.

All of us [turn] Around the sun shines gloriously, but we all contribute to the whole. Each time it ends, you will look for a wrinkle in the script that is different from the last time. Fortunately, there are more things to do and more hobbies.

You both face your toughest and most dangerous enemy, the Marquis. What makes him so dangerous, especially in a world full of killers?

Ian McShane: He’s 6 feet-5, he wears very nice suits, he’s Swedish, he speaks 19 languages. He is a Skarsgård and he has 1000 brothers. No, I love Bill. I think Bill is great [movie]Crazy like a madman.

Lance Reddick: But he’s also almost a total psychopath, feeling like he has more agency than any of the villains to do what he wants at the high table.
