Ice. Dog risked his life to jump onto subway tracks to save blind owner’s life

A dog risked his life to jump off the tracks to save his blind owner’s life just before a subway train arrived in Manhattan, New York – USA.

Although being run over by a train, Mr. Cecil Williams (61) and his dog Orlando were lucky to escape death.

The phenomenon ended a sensitive period in Mr. Williams’ life, which began when he was unexpectedly electrocuted and fell onto the rails on his way to the dentist.

“Orlando tried to hold me back and save my life,” Mr Williams said. The dog didn’t hesitate to jump after him when he fell.

Orlando jumped up and tried to wake Mr Williams as the train approached, according to Matthew Martin, who witnessed the incident: “The dog kissed the owner and tried to get him out of harm’s way.”

The train driver, who requested the train’s brakes, was sent an explanation. Fortunately, both of them fell into the railway pit and survived. Williams was taken to the hospital by paramedics at the scene, and Orlando was not seriously injured.

Mr Williams still doubts why he passed out on the track, but believes it was a side effect of the medication. Although he was seriously injured, he felt safe because he had a pious dog with him.

Orlando is Mr. Williams’ replacement companion dog. Since 1995, it is possible to do without eyes. Orlando is truly an idol and a divine dog.
