Ice Spice Plays Coy When Asked if Taylor Swift Will Appear on Her Debut Album: 'Let's See'

Ice Spice continues to tease his debut album, Y2K — but he doesn’t give everything yet!

While talking to Party tonight at the 2024 BET Awards on Sunday, June 30, the Grammy-nominated rapper was asked about the “crazy collaboration” she previously teased at the top of the year.

And now he reveals that “several” of them are ready for the album. “That’s what I can say,” Ice, 24, said of her July 26 outing. – Yes, of course, more than one.

When asked if her friend Taylor Swift would “return the favor” to Ice Hopping on her “Karma” remix in May 2023, the rapper (real name Isis Gaston) was coy about the potential upcoming collaboration.

I think she did me a favor, Ice said. “But I don’t know. Let’s see, let’s see, let’s see.”

Ice will soon embark on their inaugural headlining tour, Y2K! The world tour, which kicks off with international festival appearances in early July before hitting the United States later in the month. And as she said ETher collaborators Swift (34) and Nicki Minaj are “always welcome” to come to the show.

“You know, they’re busy ladies, right? On sold-out tours. Congrats to them,” she replied when asked if they would be joining forces soon. – They know that they are always welcome.

Ice previously teased the album while talking to PEOPLE in February about her Starry Super Bowl commercial. At the time, she stated that she wouldn’t be opposed to hearing Swift on a beat produced by her favorite producer, RiotUSA. “I’d like to hear that,” she said. “That would be so much fun.”

Ice Spice’s 2024 BET Awards Performance of ‘Phat Butt’ and ‘Think You the S— (Fart)’ Is Literally Explosive

During this weekend’s BET Awards, the Bronx MC performed two songs from her upcoming album: “Think U The Shit (Fart)” and her latest single, “Phat Butt.”

For the show, she wore a two-piece look designed by I.AM.GIA and rapped in front of a graffitied garage door with her dancers by her side. She ended the performance with an explosion of light and fire on the screen behind her.

Ice also took on another different look for the show’s red carpet, as she wore a tangerine Versace dress from the Spring/Summer 2004 collection.

Her first ever headlining tour hits home theaters starting in Washington, DC on July 30th and running through August – with her set to wrap things up on August 31st in Miami.
