IHOP Teams Up with Girl Scout Cookies on a New Pancake Flavor

Girl Scouts and IHOP sweeten the month of March.

Girl Scout Mint Thin Pancakes are the latest flavor to debut as part of IHOP’s Pancake of the Month program. The limited-time breakfast includes four green buttermilk pancakes topped with creamy cheesecake mousse, Girl Scout Thin Mints and whipped topping.

Customers can purchase the cookie-flavored breakfast item as a whole stack, side dish, or part of a pancake combo for the calendar month.

IHOP’s Pancake of the Month program launched on February 1st with the debut of their strawberry flavored chocolate just in time for Valentine’s Day. The item came with four chocolate chip pancakes topped with creamy cheesecake mousse, then topped with chocolate sauce, fresh sliced strawberries, whipped topping and chocolate chips.

Each month will have its own unique creation for customers — in addition to all the staple items the restaurant offers.

The youth organization did not bring any new flavors this year, but instead announced the return of favorite flavors such as Thin Mints, Samoas (or Caramel deLites), Tagalongs (or Peanut Butter Patties), Adventurefuls, Caramel Chocolate Chip, Do-sidos (or a peanut butter sandwich), Girl Scout S’mores, Lemonades, Lemon-Ups, Toast-Yay, Toffee-tastic and Trefoils.

Last year’s new cookie, Raspberry Rally, which was considered Thin Mints’ “sister cookie,” is missing from the sweet lineup. The company discontinued it to focus on classic flavors.

In the fall, it was announced that Girl Scout Cookies are not exempt from inflation. An email sent to the Girl Scouts Heart of the Hudson Community (GSHH) in New York state informed the troop that cookie prices would increase from $5 to $6 per box.

But not all troops will see a price increase. A GSUSA spokesperson told PEOPLE that all 111 Boy Scout councils set their own rates “based on several factors.”
