IISER Conference Berhampur 2023
IISER Berhampur Conference 2023: A total of 101 graduate students from the Indian Institute of Scientific Education and Research (IISER), Berhampur, received a BS-MS dual degree during the third conference, held on Friday. The event was held at the future permanent campus of the academy at Vigyanpuri, located near Laudigaon. In addition to dual degrees, the Institute awards four integrated doctoral degrees (iPhDs) and two doctoral degrees to students who successfully complete their research endeavors.
Awarded Best Achievement: Medal and Dual Degree IISER Berhampur
In recognition of outstanding achievements, the institute awarded medals to the best students, such as the President’s Gold Medal, the Principal’s Gold Medal, the Mastery Medal (Silver) and several other prestigious medals. Outstanding dual degrees offered by the institute include disciplines such as biology, chemistry, mathematics and physics.
The second group of students, who applied for the 5-year BS-MS degree program in August 2018, successfully completed all academic requirements and were awarded the Bachelor of Science and Master of Science degrees.
IISER Conference Berhampur celebrates inspirational guest speeches and student achievement
The event was attended by Mr. Setheesh Reddy, former Defense Minister, who was honored to be honored as the Key Guest. In his speech, he encouraged the students to commit to study hard, contribute to India’s self-reliance and support Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision of Atma Nirbhar Bharat. Sudhir Uttamlal Mehta, President of Torrent Limited and Board of Directors of the Institute chaired the online function.
Ashok Kumar Ganguli, director of the institute, is proud to announce that some of the institute’s graduates have been selected for prestigious doctoral programs at home and abroad. Founded in 2016 by the central government, IISER Berhampur is the youngest of seven IISERs spread across the country.
