Barinholtz almost won the semi-finals, but his fate was sealed in the “Final Jeopardy” category. He bet his total earnings from the episode and lost it all, leaving him at $0 at the end of the episode. Philosophy professor Ben Chan won the battle with a total of $9,599.
Barinholtz could have had a shot at first place if he hadn’t gone all-or-nothing.
After party the actor first appeared on Danger from celebrities!, where he won $1,000,000 for charity. His excitement at returning to the series – and advancing all the way to the semi-finals – was palpable as he spoke to Sup. “I’m very, very happy to talk about it,” Barinholtz says of his Tournament of Champions achievements. “I talk to strangers on the street. I still can’t believe this happened.”
