I’m A Celeb shock as Marvin Humes is sixth campmate evicted from jungle with final just two days away

Marvin Humes has been packed out of the I’m A Celebrity jungle tonight, with just two days left until the finale.

Marvin is now the sixth camper to be kicked out of this series, following on the heels of Danielle Harold last night.

It was between him and Josie Gibson in the bottom two.

“Chatting to Ant and Dec as he left the camp, he seemed resigned to leaving two days before the final after seeing his wife a few hours earlier as part of the surprise.

Marvin said: “Seeing Rochelle at camp yesterday was the most amazing feeling ever, so leaving today was perfect.”

He called the program “the best show on TV” and added “I can’t believe I’ve come this far” after spending 22 days in the jungle.

Marvin said he “conquered his fear” of skydiving and that his 10-year-old daughter Alaia-Mai would be “so proud” of him.

He also revealed plans for Sam Thompson to perform with his band JLS during their 2024 tour.

“I told Sam he has to come and do something with me and the boys next year,” he explained, adding that he was delighted to hear from wife Rochelle that Everybody In Love had returned to the charts.

“This experience will stay with me forever,” he said through tears.

Asked who he wanted to beat, Marvin hesitated before saying, “Tony or Sam.”

The night before, Danielle was given her marching orders during Thursday night’s (December 7) show, where she wasted no time telling Ant and Dec exactly whose side she was on during the infamous ‘food gate’ row.

Viewers were kept busy as Fred Sirieix found himself on the attack earlier in the week as he struggled with not being head chef.

When Josie was in charge of food at the camp, the two clashed, but Danielle made it clear that she was in league with her.

When asked who was the better cook between Josie and Fred, she took a swipe at the Frenchman, saying: “I’ll go with Josie. I prefer home cooking.”

Danielle followed in the grand tradition of all the other stars who were eliminated earlier in the week by choosing Sam as her winner.

“He’s like a younger brother to me,” she beamed.

It’s been a busy bye week in camp, and every night since Sunday, a star has been dressed.

Frankie Detorri was the first to exit, with many blaming his early exit on a lack of airtime,

Speaking to The Sun the day after leaving camp, he shared his thoughts on potentially getting a raw deal in editing.

He said: “Talking to my wife, she said I have very little air time.

“I thought I did a lot, but it depends on how the program is edited.

“But you know what? I had a lot of fun and jokes, pranks, laughter.

“Of course, a victory would be nice, but that is not the most important thing. The most important thing for me is that experience.”

Frankie’s outing was followed by influencer Nella Rose, who came second on Monday night.

Appearing live on This Morning on Wednesday, Nella spoke candidly about her showdown with Fred, saying: “Everything is in the jungle, everything is heightened.”

She told how she was challenged by the First Dates star’s comments – but insisted the pair are still friends.

It’s a big, fat misunderstanding – we’re over it.”

She added: “I understand, it’s TV, it’s live.”

Fred soon followed Nella, leaving the next evening.

And he wasted no time hitting back at claims he bullied camp friend Josie, insisting: “I’m not sexist and I’m not mean.”

He added: “In hindsight I should have let her get on with it. I should have just sat back. I think she’s a lovely girl.”

The fourth inmate to be eliminated in the meantime was Nick Pickard, who joined the deportees on Thursday night.

He has now reunited with his girlfriend Sarah Corrin, who has been enjoying a string of nights out on the town with Sam’s best friend Pete Wicks.

Nick joked about confronting Pete after finding out about their friendship.

Speaking to Fleur East on the Hits Radio Breakfast Show, Nick said: “She thinks she’s a celebrity now.

“The first thing I said to Pete was ‘have you been running off with my dick you cheeky whore?!’

“Luckily I know him and obviously through meeting Sam I know what a lovely guy he is so it’s all good!”
