Josie was the seventh star to leave the camp, meaning Tony Bellew, Sam Thompson and Nigel Farage were confirmed as the three finalists.
Despite being a popular addition to the show, fans are speculating that her feud with First Dates star Fred Sirieix led to her losing her spot in the competition.
Taking to X, formerly Twitter, one person wrote: “So happy @Nigel_Farage is in the #ImACeleb final. He’s done really well, unlike failures like Nella, Josie & Fred who have all been exposed in their scams. So many celebrities are so stupid and delusional.”
Another said: “Josie Gibson took off her mask and showed her true colors. Her behavior, like Danielle’s towards Fred, was disgraceful.”

“Josie came off badly on this show, she was two-faced and quite rude to Nigel and Fred,” added a third.
Viewers saw Fred and Josie fighting in the jungle after Josie took on the role of camp cook, much to the dismay of the maître d’hôtel.
Opinions about the This Morning host quickly changed when they noticed Josie was “mocking Fred”.
After the First Dates matchmaker and Marvin Humes returned from the Bushtucker trial, Josie seemed to mimic Fred while talking to Danielle Harold.
Josie made faces and pretended to cry as she mimicked Fred’s failure to get all eight stars in his trial.
The incident sparked backlash on social media, with one viewer commenting: “Oh no Josie, don’t stoop to Danielle’s level.”
Fred became the third contestant to bid farewell to the jungle after receiving the fewest votes from the public.
During his exit chat with hosts Ant and Dec, he discussed his ongoing feud with Josie over her cooking skills.
He explained: “There’s a lot at stake with food. And it’s not just what you’re cooking at the moment that’s going to be good of course, because the produce is amazing, it’s what you can make the next day with leftover bones.”
Josie revealed that she had a secret “showdown” with Fred that was never revealed during her exit interview.
Speaking to hosts Ant and Declan afterwards, Josie opened up about her clash with Fred in the jungle.
She said: “I was trying to cook and Fred was criticizing everything I was doing. I think I clearly put him on the back burner.
“In the end I just had to settle it with a showdown. We had a showdown at the end and I won.”
