I’m a Celebrity was forced to apologize last night when the moderator thrust ITV into the center of a social media row over Nella Rose.
Bosses were quick to react when fans of the show noticed that the official account had ‘liked’ hateful comments about the YouTuber.

ITV was quick to delete the thread and asked fans to “be kind” in a statement posted online.
The statement read: “Yesterday we accidentally liked a comment on Instagram while scrolling through a viewer’s comments.
“The post in question contained unacceptable language about one of our campers and we apologize for the error and any offense caused.
“We strive to support all of our camp friends and always encourage the public to be kind when commenting on social media.”

The row started when a number of viewers noticed that the official I’m A Celebrity account, which has 1.6 million followers on Instagram and 1.3 million on Twitter, had ‘liked’ a mean comment about Nellie Rose, 26, made by a user below a post celebrating Sam Thompson’s discoveries about his ADHD.
We decided to keep the account name private, but the insult read: “You know why since Josie is an honest person Nelly wants a tummy just for publicity.”
The thread has now been deleted, but users online claim there were other comments – but none that The Sun has been able to verify.
Another post said to have been liked by the account read: “I’m not a Nella fan but I have to agree with you, if it was Nella it would be a mess here… but not with Josie.”
Of all the actors this year, Nella Rose attracted the most criticism online.
Following her now infamous ‘dad-gate’ row with Fred Sirieix, many have shared their thoughts on the influencer who threw I’m A Celebrity into chaos last week after a tumultuous 24 hours in which she left camp due to a medical emergency, fell her third trial and attract a host of complaints from Ofcom.
So far 861 viewers have complained about the row with Fred and 856 have flagged the exchange about the race between Nigel Farage and Nella.
