Inaamulhaq is an Indian actor and screenwriter. He wrote the script for the popular stand-up comedy show “Comedy Circus” on Sony TV and also wrote the dialogues for the Bollywood film “Bbuddah…Hoga Terra Baap” (2011) starring Amitabh Bachchan . He is famous for his performance in the national award-winning film Filmistaan.

He made his debut as a writer on the second season of the Indian detective drama Karamchand, directed by Pankaj Parashar. His short film Parchhaiyaan (2004) was based on an anti-war poem written by the famous poet Sahir Ludhianvi.

Refusal to rent a house
Inaamulhaq lodged a complaint against DSM Housing Society at Kalyan Complex in Versova as the society refused to rent a house to him. According to the actor, the association management did not allow him to meet the committee members and did not give him a valid reason for his refusal. He said,
For five Sundays, they kept me waiting for different reasons. First, they told me that I should bring my wife and son to prove that I was married and they were vacationing in Mumbai. But even when they came back, the association refused to give us an appointment. “
On the other hand, the secretary of the association said that they were not denying that he rented the house, but that he did not fully comply with social norms. According to the secretary, Inamulhak did not bring his wife and son to the interview, so his appointment was delayed.

- Inamulhaq believes that the film industry should produce more meaningful films. Speaking about this in an interview, he said,
I think stars should use their power to do more meaningful things (movies) rather than entertaining things, because movies do affect people and we have to use it carefully. High quality movies are needed. We should make films that audiences will remember for years to come. ”
- In an interview, Inamulhak said of his struggling days that one time a newspaper refused to publish an article about his journey because there was no space for his article. Later, Inamulhak discovered that a news article titled “Bebo kebirthdayprkyapehnegiLolo” was printed by replacing his article, which, according to him, was not worth printing.
- To promote his film Naakash, Inamulhaq stood on the road holding placards along with his co-star Sharib Hashmi. Inamulhaq stated that they did not have the money to promote the film on a large scale; therefore, they decided to promote their film through placards.

- Inamulhaq revealed in an interview that he turned down a lot of movies during his career for various reasons, but the most common reason was that he always tried to avoid playing similar roles in different movies in order to keep performing of versatility. He said,
Whatever I am, I am not because of my ‘yes’, whatever I am, I am not because of my ‘no’. ”
- In 2017, Inamulhak celebrated his birthday with special children in Varanasi, where he was shooting for a film. Just in time for Children’s Day, his film “Airlift” was screened for the children. In an interview, Inamulhak shared his experience of spending birthdays with special children, saying:
I’m asked to inspire them, but I get so much more joy and motivation from these kids than I ever get from anyone else. I screened my film Airlift for them and they all had a great time. ”
