Inside Amy Acker And James Carpinello Married Life

These two are living proof that not every Hollywood romance is meant to end in a few years. The couple has been married for more than two decades. The couple, who have two teenagers, seem to have passed their performative DNA on to their children.

Marriage of Amy Acker and James Carpinello

It is not improbable to think that Acker and Carpinello met at one of their trades. After all, they have been in the entertainment business for over two decades. Acker began her career in the film industry before her husband; she made her debut in 1997, and he only in 2000. However, he was already performing in the theater before his film career took off.

On April 23, 2003, the couple married in a lavish “wine and flowers” ceremony at Hans Fahden Vineyard in Napa Valley, California. On her wedding day, Acker wore a wrap dress by Reva Mivasagar. Her husband chose an Italian wedding look, wearing a black Armani suit with a white shirt and tie underneath.

Acker completed her wedding look with her grandmother’s jewelry, which also served as “something borrowed”. This implies that the couple have been in a relationship for 19 years and will tie the knot in August 2022. On April 25, 2022, Acker made a beautiful post on Instagram to mark their 19th anniversary. She posted a greyscale photo from their wedding day of them walking around hand in hand and commented: “@jimmycarp happy anniversary! It’s hard to believe that 19 years have passed! I adore you!”

Children of Amy Acker and James Carpinello

On January 13, 2005, two years after their wedding, they had their first child, a son, Jackson James Carpinello. The following year, on September 1, 2006, they welcomed his sibling, daughter Ava Grace Carpinello. Adolescents have already shown interest in performing arts.

James, who is 17, has already appeared in a short film with his parents, Creeper, which was released in 2022. According to his Instagram profile, he will graduate from The Buckley School in California in 2023. Ava, in turn, discovered her early purpose in something Acker did as a child: dance. Acker studied dance for 13 years before she started acting, and Ava seems to have inherited her dancing DNA. She is a senior at LACHSA (Los Angeles County College of the Arts) and will graduate in 2025. According to Acker’s website profile, she and her family split their time between Los Angeles and New York, most likely because of Carpinello’s Broadway and theater connections.
