CELEBRITIES in search of the “perfect” body are using fat-busting injections to shed pounds.

But the injections, associated with a number of troubling side effects, have become a major problem.

Fans were horrified by Dirrty singer Christina Aguilera’s dramatic weight loss, with many speculating that it could be the result of Ozempic injections.

The 43-year-old, who looked slimmer than ever in a tight-fitting bodysuit, did not comment on the rumours.

But many famous faces use Ozempic, Wegovy and Mounjaro to curb their desire. And I’m A Celebrity contestants who are already on medication will be allowed to continue taking it in the jungle.

Common side effects include nausea, diarrhea, dehydration, blurred vision, depression, and dizziness.

SHE has publicly struggled with her weight for decades, but chat show queen Oprah, 70, insisted fat injections would be an easy way out.

Now, after moving up to almost 3st, she admits to using a weight loss drug, which appeared to be a “gift”, although she did not confirm which one.

She said: “The fact that there is a medically approved prescription for weight control and health maintenance, in my lifetime, seems like . . . a gift, not something to hide behind. I’m done shaming other people and myself.”

ACTRESS Rebel (44) made a career out of being a bigger girl playing Fat Amy in the Pitch Perfect movies.

But in her memoir, Rebel Rising, she said food helped her deal with an abusive relationship with her father, adding: “I wasn’t dealing with my emotions properly, I was just punching myself in the face.”

After shedding 80 pounds through healthy eating and exercise, Rebel then used Ozempic to maintain her shape.

She said: “Someone like me could have an endless appetite for sweets. So I think these drugs can be good.”

SHE may have lost the 3rd, but Sharon said Ozempic took a toll on her body.

Issuing a stark warning, the former X Factor judge, 71, told Piers Morgan last year: “You feel nauseous at first. You’re not throwing up, but you feel like it. You become very thirsty and do not want to eat. That’s why I keep saying you have to keep these things away from younger people.”

Worryingly, she added in another interview: “I couldn’t stop losing weight and now I’ve lost 42 pounds and I can’t afford to lose any more.”

KELLY, 39, says she’s a fan of Ozempico – after meeting someone who believed he “changed their lives”.

“They explained to me how it removed the mental obsession with food and allowed them to dig deeper. . . and how life-changing it was,” Kelly said.

“It completely changed my mind about it. If there is a drug that can help people lose weight, what’s so bad about it?”

Kelly, who lost 85lb after giving birth to son Sidney in 2022, denied using drugs herself.

JESSICA revealed in her memoir Open Book that she took diet pills early in her career.

But last year she dismissed accusations that she used Ozempic, saying: “Oh my God. I mean, it’s not. It’s willpower.”

The singer and reality star, 44, lost 100lb after giving birth to her third child Birdie Mae in 2019 through diet, exercise and quitting drinking.

And she ignores widespread speculation about her fluctuating weight, saying: “I’m happy I’ve been all sizes.”

Doctors need supervision

“STRONG” diet drug Ozempic should only be taken under strict supervision, claims a top European expert on obesity and weight loss.

Professor Jason Halford, from the University of Leeds, said: “Ozempic is the most powerful drug we have seen yet. It also comes with some pretty serious side effects.

“The problem is that many people use social media as a source of information and not as their doctor. It’s not something that should be done without careful medical supervision.”
