A COUPLE sneaks into the sand dunes and their bikinis are left scattered like breadcrumbs leading to a very naughty adventure.
Nearby, naked vacationers carelessly frolic in the sea, soaking up more than just the sun.

While the temperature may be dropping in the UK, things are seriously heating up in Gran Canaria – and we’re not just talking about the weather!
Every October, Brits descend on the tiny Spanish island, just off the northwest coast of Africa, in search of a bit of fun while swapping partners in paradise.
With its infamous nudist beach and quirky shopping center – where you can get groceries by day and swing by night – it’s no wonder Gran Canaria is fast becoming the swing capital of the world.
While Brits and Germans might fight for sunbeds in other holiday hotspots, here they’re more than happy to ditch their towels and jump in together – no booking required.
I’ve arrived at the end of Maspalomas Fetish Pride, the annual celebration of all things fetish on this Catholic island.
But it’s not the only X-rated event in town. Britain’s biggest swinging festival, Swingathon, has flown out for its first lively getaway, and as The Sun’s Sexpert, I’ve been given exclusive access to cover the week-long escapade.
“Gran Canaria is dirt with a healthy dose of family fun,” says Matt Mitchell, 39, a machine operator from Lincolnshire.
“The shopping center is a mecca for swinging. People from all over the world come here to meet other swingers.
“Last year I came to take some photos at one of the popular swinging clubs inside. I went upstairs and there was an orgy of 25 people. Standard.
“Someone noticed me and said: ‘Come in!’ and before you know it, I’m number 26 and I’m having a good time.”

Swingathon founder Matt Cole adds: “Yeah, the Cita Center is a bit of a weird place because during the day you shop there for clothes and stuff and at night it’s a hot spot for swinging.
“But that’s how it is here. It’s so accepted, while in England it’s all quiet and unrestrained.”
Swingers on tour
Matt said he honeymooned here last year with his wife Stacie, 29, and loved the freedom “so much” he decided to make it an annual destination for the Swingathon-on-Tour.
When asked about the sexiest thing he ever witnessed at a swinging club on the island, he said: “There were 40 women, all gathered and having fun. Yeah, that was really cool!”
Matt reveals that he flew with 60 Brits, all of whom slept in the Cordial Green Golf Bungalows.

A week on this tour will set you back around £1,000 for accommodation and flights. Most of the swing clubs on the island offer free entry for women, while couples pay 20 euros, and singles pay 50 euros so as not to turn into a “sausage shop”.
“You don’t have to do anything at the club,” Matt continues as he shows me the popular swing bar.
“You can just go for a drink, walk around in your nice underwear or naked, and obviously go play if you want, or even just chill in the hot tub.

“Each club has loads of different games rooms, so there might be a game room where you can close the door and be just you and your partner or you and another couple.
“You’ve got game rooms where you can have singles, you’ve got big orgy rooms and there’s a lot of different scenarios that come down to what you want.”
‘Spoilt for choice’
Long-term partners Raya, 42, an administration manager, and Tim, 44, a business manager, from Peterborough, flew out with the Swingathon.
The couple were “spoilt for choice” while away and enjoyed threes and fours each night.
“I’m bisexual and swinging gives me the opportunity to enjoy men and women, often at the same time,” explains Raya. “From cuddling to sex, the only limit is what you set for yourself.
“Sometimes we just go to the social scene. Other times we rock from dusk till dawn.”
The visit to Gran Canaria with the group is the first time the couple has attended a swing event abroad.

“Nothing could have prepared us for the variety of clubs, the variety of people, the different fetishes and play options, and the sheer amount of swinging that goes on here,” says Tim.
“The scene at home is mid-level, but coming here is the pinnacle of swing,” adds Raya.
Most nights, the couple goes out to clubs in shorts, T-shirts or jeans. “I’m wearing a sexy bikini underneath,” says Raya. “If it’s a themed event, we’ll dress up.”
During this trip, they had sex as a couple in an exhibition room open to all clubbers, and as they say, it took their pleasure to new heights.
“Making love in an open room with each other is unusually intimate, even with the crowd watching,” explains Raya.

On other nights, he will meet a single girl, guy or couple at the bar.
“We chat, and if we both like them, we use our code word, so we know we’re both interested. It’s a joint decision,” shares Tim.
“Then we go into a private room and make sure to check with the other person or couple their boundaries before we go in. Some couples just want touch, while others want full intercourse.”
After a hard night of swinging, they often return to their hotel room and still have the energy to make love.

“It’s the best sex ever,” says Tim. “We’re both buzzing and fired up from the night, and we’re channeling it into each other.”
The couple, who run a social media site called Hedon and Hell about their swinging lifestyle, believe swinging can prevent divorces and prevent marriages from becoming stale.
“I know so many couples who don’t have a good time who get divorced because of cheating,” Tim continues. “Swinging takes that out of the equation and brings you closer, in and out of the bedroom.”
Although they admit they are sometimes “a bit jealous” of each other, Raya explains: “It’s normal, but swinging as a couple means it’s minimal. One of our rules is that we always make time to make love together at the end of the night.”

Naked attraction
Nearby, Manchester mother-of-four Josh, 29, and Dee Grant, 43, are getting ready for the day at Venus – a luxury swinging nudist resort set within stunning subtropical gardens right in the heart of Maspalomas.
The couple has been together for six years and are on a swinging holiday together for the first time.
“Gran Canaria is the place to be if you’re going on a swinging getaway,” says Dee.
“The swinging scene here is so open. It is not taboo like it is in Great Britain. There are big places that are heavily advertised – you can go to five or six places.
“Ninety percent of the people are in the bars that lead to these places for the same reason, so you don’t get those awkward looks from the side, wondering if you’re all there for the same thing.”

Dee explains how their boundaries have changed over time.
“When you first start, it’s usually, ‘Oh, we don’t want to kiss other people and we don’t want a full exchange.’ But we soon realized that many of those initial limits were quite unrealistic, which is indeed common.
“So we slowly learned to approach it with a rough idea of what to expect, not to go too wild and talk about it afterwards. If we decide to experiment a bit more that night, we’ll just communicate about it later.”
Sex and your body
Everything you need to know about sex and your body
The couple said that they swing together and play separately and have already “made friends” with other swing couples on the island.
“We go out together most of the time,” Dee explains.
“We go to the same locations, but we also take different paths when we go in because we like different people. But even that developed over time. We also swing as a couple – I still like it,” he laughs.
Dunes of debauchery
Meanwhile, on the beach, naughty couples strip and sneak into the dunes.
Officials recently tried to fence off the area to deter pleasure-seekers from enjoying the infamous dunes, citing concerns about damage to the ecosystem.
Despite the looming threat of jail and hefty fines, spirited couples still flock to the sheltered dunes of Maspalomas for outdoor action.
Bisexual Kerry ‘Red’ Voellner, 45, who runs Adam and Eve’s swinging club in Manchester and helps organize the Swingathon, enjoys the freedom of the beach.
“Today I was in the sea with my friends,” she says.
“We were all naked. Nobody did anything; we just enjoy the feeling of freedom. Here you can walk naked in the sun with your friends. What more can you ask for?”
