Irina Shayk Starts New Year in Glittering Green Mini Dress: ‘The Morning of 2024’

Irina Shayk shines for the beginning of the New Year!

On Monday, the 37-year-old model shared the glittery look in a new Instagram post to ring in the New Year.

The carousel shows Shayk modeling a Retrofête Nara sequined feather dress while posing on the beach. She also shows off the dress as she goes for a swim in the ocean.

Along with the striking dress, the supermodel accessorized with a pair of strappy nude shoes, which she wore in just a few select photos.

“Morning 2024💚🐉,” Shayk captioned her holiday Instagram post.

While Shayk dazzled in her latest outfit, she revealed in April 2023 that she hasn’t always gotten compliments on her looks. Model recalled for Harper’s Bazaar that she was told at the beginning of her career that she didn’t “look like a model”.

“She’s not skinny, she’s too sexy, she’ll never be a model,” Shayk said.

Her answer was always the same. “I always thought, ‘No, I’m not going to do that. I’m not going to lose 10 pounds.’ ”

The model also shared that her life has become “so hectic” since becoming a parent to her 6-year-old daughter Lea de Seine, who she is raising with her ex Bradley Cooper.

“We don’t have a nanny, so between trying to manage my career, cooking, cleaning, dressing my daughter, getting her to school and doing all my mommy stuff, I don’t have time for other people’s opinions,” she told Harpers Bazaar.

“We teach our daughter that the most important thing is to be kind to people. Every time we send her to school, we say, ‘Just remember kindness and love,'” Shayk added.

The former couple ended things in 2019 and have tried to remain friends and devoted parents.

Recently, the model celebrated the actor’s new film, Maestro, and their daughter’s on-screen debut in a movie.

She shared a sweet message on her Instagram Story in honor of Cooper’s, 48, Netflix film.

“Congratulations @maestrofilm,” Shayk wrote on the film’s poster Maestro, in which their daughter dances with Carey Mulligan, 38, while Cooper leans on weed. “So proud papa and Lea 💕.”
