Escobar Paradise Lost

Nick Brady finds himself in Colombia with his brother, where he meets Maria, who happens to be the niece of the infamous drug lord Pablo Escobar. Witnessing the dangerous environment around Escobar, Nick and Maria decide to leave the country, together with Nick’s brother, wife and child.

However, before they escape together, Pablo calls Nick and other trusted people. He reveals that he made a deal with the Colombian government and will be going to prison for a long time. Pablo instructs people to hide his valuable inventory in the caves and assigns Nick to meet the guide, transport the boxes into the cave and destroy the entrance with dynamite.

Additionally, Nick is ordered to kill the guide, but his conscience prevents him from taking his own life, especially when he discovers that the guide is only 15 years old. As Nick helps the guide, he realizes that he too is a target on Pablo’s hit list. Trapped in a small town where hitmen, local police and militia are looking for him, Nick narrowly escapes and tries to meet Maria again at the Canadian consulate.

While en route to Maria, Nick manages to make a desperate call to warn his brother’s family, but it’s too late. Escobar’s men had already arrived and killed Nick’s brother, while also shooting his brother’s wife and child during a phone call.

Engaging in a shootout with two of Escobar’s hired guns, Nick manages to eliminate them, but not without suffering a bullet wound himself. Despite his injury, he successfully meets Maria near the consulate. Unfortunately, Nick soon succumbs to his wounds. Maria’s fate remains uncertain as she seeks help from the consulate, but runs into more of Escobar’s men along the way.
