After completing his studies, he went on to pursue a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering. Later, he started writing and performing plays in the university drama club “Dramebaaz” and later joined a local theater troupe.

Ishwar Thakur in financial crisis
Ishwar Thakur faced serious financial difficulties. The actor suffered from severe kidney disease. He claimed he couldn’t control his urine because he couldn’t afford diapers, so he used newspapers. Additionally, his mother is bedridden and his siblings suffer from schizophrenia. Ishvar claimed that he wanted to work so that he could support himself, his mother and his brother. In an interview, he discussed his condition and said:
I’m very picky. Now it seems that death is better than life. But I couldn’t leave my mother and brother in this situation, so I kept fighting. ”
However, many of his colleagues stepped up to the plate and helped him survive the economic crisis. Actor Sonu Sood’s foundation helped him treat his younger brother’s mental disorder.
