After an unforgettable visit by Jennifer Lopez, an Italian store named one of its dresses after a star!
While on holiday with friends in southern Italy this week, the actress and singer, 54, visited a handmade clothing store and bought a dress – which the store then named after her.
Referring to Lopez’s visit, a store employee told PEOPLE, “She came in and you could tell she was really enjoying herself.”

Lopez and her friends had an impromptu dance party at the store, the employee recalled. “When she heard the music of Geolier [an Italian rapper] tricked, she started dancing,” they said. “We all looked at her, she is so beautiful. It was so sweet, her dancing.”

“She was happy, she was shining and dancing”, said the employee and added: “It was great that she was with us. She seemed very calm and relaxed [and] above all, happy. You could tell she was happy because she was all smiles.”

And Lopez did not leave empty-handed. The star “bought a traditional local costume,” the employee said, adding: “She was so smiling when she came to the checkout to pay for the dress.”

The store has since renamed the white-and-gold outfit “Jennier Lopez” — and it’s being sold as an alva.
“It’s already becoming a summer trend,” the employee said, adding, “People keep asking for it.”

For a day of sunning and taking photos with friends on Friday, June 21, Lopez paired a plunging white Gooseberry Intimates one-piece swimsuit with matching open-toe heels.
Lopez pulled her hair into a high ponytail and, in true J.Lo style, accessorized with oversized sunglasses and gold jewelry. She was also seen wearing a chocolate brown mask and carrying a Christian Dior hat bag.

The actress was also photographed on a boat earlier this week, on June 18, carrying the same basket bag that she paired with a cream bandeau top, teaming with multicolored shorts and gold sandals.
Lopez’s stylish getaway began when a source told PEOPLE the star plans to travel this summer. Her husband Ben Affleck, with whom she has been married for almost two years, is currently in Los Angeles filming Accountant 2.
