Iza Calzado, a Filipino actress, and her husband Ben Wintle, both 40, are expecting their first child. On Friday, August 12, the actress posted a video of herself smiling and hugging her growing baby bump on Instagram. She accompanied the photo with the following caption:
“Life, they say, begins at 40. So I had all these huge plans for my 40th year on Earth, which was also my 20th year in the profession. I had already completed several fascinating tasks that had been assigned to me, and there were several more in the works. I was excited to start this new chapter in my life.”

Calzado also wrote in the description that she did not intend to have a child right away, but that she knew it had to happen and that she had come to terms with everything that God intended for her. The actress continued,
“I welcome this new chapter of my life with a grateful heart, putting aside all my anxieties and worries and just trusting in the divine timing and wisdom of life.”
Calzado talked about her child, adding that she knows it will propel her to greater heights in ways she can’t fathom. She concluded by calling the baby a huge miracle and a guiding light that gives her meaning, purpose and direction in life. She added two more photos on Instagram, one of which includes her husband, Ben Wintle. They have been together since 2017.
