Jacob Anderson, best known for playing Gray Worm in Game of Thrones, will now play Louis de Pointe du Lac in the new AMC TV series Interview with the Vampire. On Sunday, October 2, 2022, the show will premiere on AMC and AMC+. Jacob Anderson is an English actor and musician best known for playing Gray Worm on the Emmy Award-winning television series Game of Thrones. Gray Worm commands Daenerys Targaryen’s Purity Army. Anderson was on the show from season 3 to season 8. He was promoted to main cast in the finale. Anderson has starred in episodes such as ITV’s Injustice, Episodes, The Mimic and Broadchurch along with Game of Thrones. When it was revealed that he would be joining the 13th season of Doctor Who in 2021, the actor became the talk of the town.
Coming of Age, Chatroom, 4.3.2.1., Demons Never Die, Comedown, Offender and Overlord are among Jacob Anderson’s films. He also has a successful singing career and has released songs like Stronger Than Ever, You’re a Man Now, Boy, Don’t Cry For Me, Aristocrats and Say What You Mean.
Anderson is set to play Louis de Pointe du Lac in the film adaptation of Anne Rice’s book Interview with Vampires. It all started with restrictions on a black man in New Orleans in 1910 and Lestat de Lioncourt’s then enticing invitation to join him as the vampire’s companion.
Anderson revealed his character to Collider:
“I appreciate how Louis suffers throughout the novel. I love the way he regrets his previous life and our Louis almost does. But I’d say our Louis has a little more power. I believe he will most likely attack Lestat. He’s a bit uninterested at first, but we’re getting there! We’re getting there, but I think he’ll bite a bit more.
Anderson’s character is talking to journalist Daniel Molloy about Lestat de Lioncourt in the Interview with the Vampire trailer, saying, “He was my killer, my mentor, my lover, and creator. out me.”

Interview with Vampires follows vampire Louis de Pointe du Lac as he tells a reporter about his existence. The documentary was previously adapted into a 1994 film of the same name, starring Brad Pitt and Tom Cruise. Along with Jacob Anderson, actors Sam Reid as Lestat de Lioncourt, Bailey Bass as Claudia and Eric Bogosian as Daniel Molloy will appear in Interview With the Vampire.
